A district in the Indian state of West Bengal is called Jhargram.The district is situated between the Subarnarekha to the south and the Kangsabati River to the north. Almost all of the people of Jhargram live in rural areas, making it one of the districts in West Bengal with the lowest population densities. It is a well-liked vacation spot with sal forests, elephants, historic temples, and royal residences. The district was created on April 4, 2017, as the 22nd district of West Bengal, following its split from the Paschim Medinipur district. The district’s main office is located in Jhargram.
