West Bengal, an Indian state, is home to the city and municipality of Krishnanagar. It serves as the Nadia district’s administrative center.

Past Events
One of the oldest municipalities in Bengal is Krishnanagar, which was founded in 1864. There is a theory that Krishna Chandra Roy (1728–1782) inspired the name. The village/city was formerly known as “Reui” (妰姇উই). The Rajbari, which was constructed here under Roy’s rule, is a well-known tourist destination.
