Located in the northern region of the Tel Aviv District on Israel’s central coast, Herzliya is a wealthy city renowned for its thriving start-up and entrepreneurial scene. Its population was 106,741 in 2022.[1] Herzliya, which is named after Theodor Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, is 21.6 square kilometers (8.3 square miles) in size. Herzliya Pituah, a beachside suburb to the west of the city, is one of the wealthiest areas in Israel and is home to many embassies, ambassadors’ residences, corporate headquarters, and the homes of well-known Israeli businesspeople.
