Örebro is the capital of Örebro County, the headquarters of Örebro Municipality, and the sixth largest city in Sweden. With a population of about 126,000 in the city proper, it is located by the Närke Plain, next to the lake Hjälmaren, and a few kilometers inland along the tiny river Svartån. It is a significant location for commercial and logistical operations and one of the nation’s biggest inland hubs.
