One of the Andaman Islands’ islands is Aves Island. It is a portion of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands’ Indian union territory, namely the North and Middle Andaman administrative district. 140 kilometers (87 mi) to the north of Port Blair is the island.

History: Aves Lighthouse opened its doors in 2008.

Location The island is located two miles (3.5 km) east of Mayabunder. 0.2 km2 (0.077 sq mi) is the area of the little island.

Management
Aves Island is a part of Mayabunder Taluk politically. The Co-op Society Ltd. plantation owns the island privately.
