In the Bhojpur District of Bihar, India, Barhara, often written Badahara (Hindi: बडहरा), is a Gram Panchayat and associated community development block. It is located along the Ganges River’s bank. Most of the settlements in this block are impacted by flooding by July or August. In 2011, there were 6,889 people living there in 927 houses, while there were 240,636 people living in 35,185 households throughout the entire block.
