One of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, India’s eleven administrative districts, is South West Delhi. South West Delhi’s administrative center is located in Kapashera.

The districts of West Delhi to the north, Central Delhi to the northeast, New Delhi and South Delhi to the east, Gurgaon District of the state of Haryana to the south, and Jhajjar District of Haryana to the west define the boundaries of South West Delhi.

With a population density of 5,445 people per square kilometer and an area of 420 km², South West Delhi is home to 2,292,958 people as of the 2011 census. It is Delhi’s fourth most populated district.
