Pronounced Dhrangadhra, it is a town, taluka seat, and municipality located in Gujarat, India’s Surendranagar district. One of the eight first-class princely states (13-gun salute) in the Kathiawar Agency in the Bombay Presidency, the city served as the capital of Dhrangadhra State during the British Raj.
