Savarkundla, often spelled Savar Kundla, is a city and municipality in Gujarat, India’s Amreli district. It is a twin city that resulted from the merger of Kundla and Savar.

Characteristics
As per the 2011 census, Savarkundla had 78,354 residents. 52% of the population was male and 48% was female. There were 11% of people under the age of six.
