One of the twenty-two districts in the Indian state of Haryana is Fatehabad district (listen). Firuz Shah Tughlaq founded Fatehabad. On July 15, 1997, the Hisar district was divided into the Fatehabad district.

Its borders run north to the districts of Mansa and Sangrur in the state of Punjab, west to the district of Sirsa, east to the district of Jind, and south to the districts of Hisar and Hanumangarh in the state of Rajasthan.
