One of the 22 districts in the northern Indian state of Haryana is Kaithal district. District headquarters are located at Kaithal town.

The district was established on November 1st, 1989.

Divisions The Kaithal district is made up of the three sub-tehsils of Rajaund, Dhand, and Siwan as well as the four tehsils of Kaithal, Guhla, Pundri, and Kalayat. This district is home to the four Haryana Vidhan Sabha constituencies: Guhla, Kalayat, Kaithal, and Pundri.[4] The Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency includes all of these.
