India’s southern state of Karnataka is home to the town of Manchenahalli. Manchenahalli was elevated to Taluk status by Karnataka state chief minister Shree B S Yediyurappa on October 31, 2019. It is situated in the Karnataka district of Chikkaballapur in the Gauribidanur taluk. It is situated 10 kilometers from Muddenahalli-Kanivenarayanapura and 14 km from the town of Gowribidanur. The town is home to the Manchenahalli Jain Temple, a Jain shrine dedicated to Shri Kodi Brahmadeva, which also has a dam linked to it. In the neighboring town of Minikanagurki is a tourism hotspot. It’s also close to Srinivasagara.
