Chittur-Thathamangalam is a municipality and town in Kerala State, India’s Palakkad district. Situated on the banks of the Kannadipuzha, a significant headstream of the Bharathapuzha, the second longest river in Kerala, it is the headquarters of the Chittur taluk, situated 13 km (8.1 mi) southeast of Palakkad. Additionally, a Mini Civil Station with services relating to the government is situated here. The municipality is made up of the two areas that make up Chittur and Thathamangalam.
