Kerala, India’s Kollam district has the municipality of Karunagappally. It is 60 km (37 mi) south of Alappuzha and 24 km north of Kollam. The Karunagappally taluk is made up of the following: Kulasekharapuram, Thekkumbhagam, Ayanivelikulangara, Panmana, Ponmana, Thazhava, Pavumba, Thodiyoor, Kallalibhagom, Thevalakkara, Chavara, Neendakara, Clappana, Ochira, Adinad, and Karunagappally. The Arabian Sea borders the taluk on the west, Kayamkulam on the north, Kunnathur taluk on the east, Kollam on the south, and Kollam on the east. It is a part of the Kollam metropolitan region and is one of the fastest developing towns in Kerala.
