Kerala, an Indian state, has fourteen districts, including Kollam district. The district possesses a variety of Kerala’s natural features, including an inland lake (Ashtamudi Lake), a significant seaport on the Laccadive Sea, and a lengthy coastline. There are lots of water bodies in the district. Among them is the Kallada River, whose east bank is known as East Kallada and its west bank as West Kallada.
