Manipur, India has a district called Tengnoupal. It was established by dividing the Chandel district in December 2016.

The new location of the district office is Tengnoupal (24.328°N 93.986°E). Tengnoupal served as the district headquarters in the 1960s and 1970s before moving to Chandel in 1974. Geographically, Tengnoupal district is ideally located for the installation of numerous government infrastructures.
