The district of Wokha is located in the Indian state of Nagaland. It is where the Lotha Nagas call home. It is well-known in cuisine for its assortment of fermented bamboo shoots, or bastenga. It is significant because the migrating Amur Falcon uses it as a roosting location. It has known oil deposits based on geology.
