Angul district, sometimes referred to as Anugul, is one of the thirty districts of Odisha in eastern India. The district headquarters is located in the city of Angul. The district is a major hub for the state’s steel, coal, and bauxite industries in addition to its vast forests, which include the Satkosia Tiger Reserve.
