Mahé district is one of Puducherry, India’s four districts that make up the union territory. It encompasses the entire Mahé region. In terms of land size, Mahé is the smallest district in India. The districts of Kannur and Kozhikode encircle the entire Mahé district on three sides and one side, respectively. The Mahé district is located within the North Malabar area geographically.
