The district of Bathinda is located in Punjab, India’s Malwa area. There are 3,385 square kilometers in the district. After Ludhiana district, Bathinda district is the second largest in terms of area in Punjab. It is bordered to the north by the districts of Faridkot and Moga, to the west by the district of Muktsar, to the east by the districts of Barnala and Mansa, and to the south by the state of Haryana. Punjab’s cotton-producing region is called Bathinda.
