Jalandhar is a city in Punjab, India. With a sizable population, it is the third most populated city in the state and the largest in the Doaba region. Jalandhar is located along the old Grand Trunk Road and serves as a hub for both rail and road networks.

The city is located 148 kilometers (92 miles) northwest of the state capital, Chandigarh, 83.5 kilometers (51.9 miles) southeast of Amritsar, and 61.3 kilometers (38.1 miles) north of Ludhiana. Delhi, the national capital, is roughly 381 km (237 mi) away.
