India’s Rajasthan state contains the district known as Barmer District. It is a portion of the Thar Desert and is situated in the western region of the state of Rajasthan. With a total size of 28,387 km2, Barmer is the fifth largest district in India and the third largest district in Rajasthan. It encompasses a portion of the Thar Desert due to its western location in the state. This district is located in the south of Jalore and to the north of Jaisalmer. Its western boundary is shared with Pakistan, while its eastern border is formed by Pali and Jodhpur. This district experiences significant temperature variations due to its semi-arid climate. Summertime temperatures can reach 51 °C and drop almost to 0 °C in
