Ambattur is a neighborhood in Chennai, India’s northwest. It is surrounded by Avadi, Anna Nagar, Korattur, Padi, Mogappair, Kallikuppam, Surapet, Ayappakkam, Athipet, and Thiruverkadu. It is situated in the Ambattur taluk of the Chennai District. It has a total area of 15.58 square miles (40.36 km2).
