With 294,671 residents, Mulugu district has the fewest people in the state. With just nine mandals, Mulugu district has the fewest mandals in the entire state. At the moment, it shares boundaries with the districts of Warangal, Mahabubabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Bhadradri, as well as the state of Chhattisgarh.
