The district of Sangareddy is situated in the Telangana state of India’s western area. A portion of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region is contained in this district.Sangareddy, originally called Sangareddy Peta, serves as the district’s administrative center. It was called for the monarch of Medak during the Nizam era, Sanga, who was the son of queen Shankaramba. The district is bordered by the state line of Karnataka as well as the districts of Medak, Medchal, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, and Rangareddy.
