In the Indian state of Uttarakhand’s Dehradun district sits the city and municipality of Vikasnagar. Another tehsil in the Dehradun district is Vikas Nagar.

It is also referred to as Pachawadoon, or Western Doon, and is the district of Dehradun’s second financial and economic center after the city. In the past, Vikasnagar was well-known for its tea gardens and international tea exports.
